This policy covers the Fillpen app (identifier com.fillpen.app), published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited. It is separate from the privacy policy for navritto.com, which covers the website.
In short: Fillpen fills in and signs your PDFs entirely on your device and never uploads them — your documents stay on your phone, under your control. The app has no user accounts and no analytics. It is free and supported by advertisements from Google AdMob, so it connects to the internet to fetch those ads; to serve them Google may collect limited data such as an advertising identifier and an approximate location, and where the law requires it you are asked to consent first and can change that choice at any time.
1. Who we are
Fillpen is published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited (“Navritto”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Haryana, India. For the limited advertising data described below, Navritto is the data controller and Google is our advertising partner.
2. What Fillpen collects
The app itself collects nothing. Navritto runs no server and no account system, and the PDFs you open, the text you enter, your signatures and the documents you create are never sent to us.
The one exception is advertising. Fillpen is free and shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, and to do that the ad component collects some data through Google — see “Advertising” below. Fillpen does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or the contents of your documents.
3. What the app can access
The documents and photos you choose
Fillpen works only on the PDF you open and the photos you pick (to add an image, build a PDF, or import a signature). It uses your device's own picker, so it sees only the files you select — it does not browse or read the rest of your files.
A network connection
Used only to fetch and show the ads that keep the app free, and to check whether you are online before requesting one. Your documents are never uploaded over this connection.
Nothing else
Fillpen asks for no camera, location, contacts or microphone access, and it has no account. It runs no background service.
4. What is stored on your device
Your documents and drafts
An open document and its edits are kept in the app's own private storage so you can come back to it, along with a thumbnail. When you export, a flattened copy is written where you choose, or shared or printed. Those files are yours; the app keeps no copy anywhere else and never uploads them.
Signatures and your details
The signatures and initials you save, and the optional profile you use to quick-fill forms (such as your name or address), are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. They never leave the device.
Settings
Your preferences — theme, default ink colour, date format, and your ad-consent choice — are saved locally and contain no personal information.
5. Advertising
Fillpen is free and supported by advertising from Google AdMob (Google’s mobile ads service). Ads appear on screens such as the home and settings screens, and you may see one full-screen ad after you export a document, with limits on how often it appears. There are never any ads while you are filling in or signing a document.
To serve these ads, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process — as a separate data controller — a device advertising identifier, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your interactions with the ads, and technical diagnostics about the device and the ad request. Google uses this to show and measure ads, limit how often you see them, and prevent fraud and abuse.
Where the law requires consent — such as in the EEA and the UK — Fillpen shows a Google-certified consent form (Google’s User Messaging Platform) the first time you open the app, and on devices that ask it, you are also asked whether the app may track you across apps. Personalised ads are shown only if you agree; otherwise you see non-personalised ads, and the app works the same either way. A “Privacy options” control in the app’s Settings lets you review or change your consent at any time, and you can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device’s settings.
How Google handles this data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and its advertising terms (business.safety.google/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
6. Legal basis (EEA / UK)
For users in the EEA and the UK: where ads are personalised, our and Google’s legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. Where ads are non-personalised, the basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in funding a free app while keeping data to the minimum an ad needs. Running the app itself involves no personal data.
7. Who the data is shared with
The only third party is Google, which provides the AdMob advertising and the consent form. Navritto does not receive your advertising identifier or location — only aggregated, anonymised ad statistics — and we do not sell your personal data. The app store you installed Fillpen from may separately collect installs and (if you opt in) diagnostics under its own privacy policy.
If you choose to share or open a document using another app — a mail, messaging, storage or printing app — that file is then handled by that app under its own privacy policy, which Fillpen does not control.
8. International transfers
Google is a global provider and may process advertising data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Google states that it relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and related safeguards for such transfers.
9. Retention and deletion
Navritto stores no personal data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Advertising data is held by Google for the periods set out in its privacy policy; you can manage or delete ad data in your Google account (myadcenter.google.com).
- Change or withdraw your ad-consent choice at any time from the app’s Settings.
- Review or revoke tracking permission, and reset the advertising identifier, in your device’s settings.
- Delete your saved signatures, profile and documents from within the app.
- Uninstalling Fillpen removes the app and everything it stored on the device. Documents you have already exported are your own files and are left where you saved them.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR (EEA/UK) and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to it, and to withdraw consent. Because Navritto holds no personal data about you, exercise these rights over advertising data through Google (myadcenter.google.com); for anything else, write to info@navritto.com.
You also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority — for example the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, your supervisory authority in the EEA (Article 77 GDPR), or the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Children’s privacy
Fillpen is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and the advertising is never based on anything in your documents.
12. Security
Your documents are protected by the same platform security that protects the rest of your device’s storage, including device encryption. They are never transmitted; only the ad request goes online, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
13. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a revised “last updated” date. Material changes will be described clearly.
14. Contact
Questions about this policy or the app can be sent to info@navritto.com. We aim to respond to privacy enquiries within 30 days.
