This Privacy Policy explains how Navritto Solutions Private Limited(“Navritto”, “we”, or “us”) handles your personal data when you visit navritto.com(the “Website”), including when you play our games, read the Navritto Stories library, or use our in-browser tools.
1. What we collect
We deliberately collect very little. There is no account, login, or sign-up form on the Website, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, postal address, payment details, or government identifiers.
- Basic usage information.Like most websites, we use an analytics service to see how the Website is used overall — for example, which pages are visited, the approximate region a visit comes from (city or country level, never a precise location), and the general type of device and browser. This is used in aggregate to improve the Website; we do not use it to identify you personally.
- Security logs. Our hosting provider automatically records routine technical details of each request (such as the page requested and the time) to keep the Website secure and prevent abuse.
- Anything you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and follow up.
2. What stays on your device
A lot of what Navritto does happens entirely in your browser and never reaches us:
- Our toolsprocess your files locally — images, documents, and other files you open in a tool are handled on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- Games and saved lists.Game progress, high scores, and your “Save to my list” reading list are stored in your own browser’s local storage. They stay on your device, and you can clear them any time from your browser settings.
3. How we use what we collect
- To operate, secure, and improve the Website.
- To understand which content is useful and where the Website can be better.
- To reply to your emails and enquiries.
- To comply with the law and respond to valid legal requests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not build advertising or marketing profiles about you.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the Website is used overall. It runs under Google Consent Mode, and analytics cookies are set only after you agree. On your first visit a small banner asks whether to allow analytics; until you choose Accept, no analytics cookie is stored and you are not identified — your browser sends only anonymous, cookieless signals that Google uses for aggregate modelling. If you choose Decline, analytics stays switched off. A few cookies that are strictly necessary to serve the Website securely may still be used.
Your choice is remembered on your own device so you are not asked again — and you can change or withdraw it at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time — the Website will keep working without them — or opt out of analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
5. Advertising
We do not currently display advertising on the Website, and advertising-related storage is switched off by default(under Google Consent Mode, our advertising and ad-personalisation storage is set to “denied”). If we introduce ads in the future, we will update this Policy first to explain what is collected, who is involved, and the choices available to you — and we will provide any consent controls required in your region before ads are shown.
6. Who we share data with
We keep sharing to a minimum. We do not sell or rent your personal data. We rely on a few trusted service providers to run the Website, and they may process data only on our behalf:
- Our analytics provider (Google Analytics), to measure aggregate usage.
- Our hosting provider (Cloudflare), to deliver the Website securely.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or a valid legal request, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business (in which case we will let users know of any change to how their data is handled).
7. Children
The Navritto Stories library includes stories for young children as well as older readers. Stories are read directly on the Website with no account, login, or form, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. We rely on parents and guardians to supervise children’s use of the Website. If you believe a child has sent us personal data (for example, by email), please contact us at info@navritto.com and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the GDPR for residents of the EEA and UK — you may have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it or delete it;
- withdraw consent where our use relies on consent;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses; and
- complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@navritto.com. We will respond within the time limits set by the applicable law.
9. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it. Aggregate analytics data is retained for a limited period and then automatically deleted; security logs are kept briefly unless needed to investigate an incident; and email correspondence is kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted on request.
10. Where your data is processed
Our analytics and hosting providers are global services and may process data on servers outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. They do so under the standard legal safeguards those providers offer for international data transfers.
11. Security
The Website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we do not store passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal data. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle.
12. Grievances (India)
If you have a question or complaint about how your personal data is handled, please email info@navritto.com. In line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we will acknowledge your grievance promptly and work to resolve it within the timelines the law requires.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shown alongside this document indicates when it last changed, and we will flag any material change on the Website before it takes effect.
