Plotzy Terms of Use

What this is

Plotzy is a free land unit converter for Android and iPhone, published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited (“Navritto”, “we”). It converts the land units used in your region, draws a plot to scale to estimate its area, works out prices from a rate, and keeps a sourced guide to each unit — all on your own device. It needs no account.

By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use it. They sit alongside the app's privacy policy and the terms of the app store you installed it from.

What it is not

Plotzy is a reference and calculation tool, not a professional service. It is not a licensed survey, an official land record, a valuation, or legal advice, and it does not measure your land for you — you supply the figures. For anything that carries legal or financial weight — a sale, a registration, a dispute, a boundary — rely on a licensed surveyor, the official record, and professional advice, not on this app.

Accuracy, and where it stops

Universal units are converted from their legal definitions using exact arithmetic, so those conversions do not drift. Customary units that vary by place — such as the bigha — genuinely differ from state to state and sometimes district to district; Plotzy marks these REGIONAL, shows the exact value it used, and cites its sources in the Guide, and where you set your own size a result is marked YOURS. A plot built from side lengths alone can only estimate an area, and the app marks that too.

We take care to get the values and sources right and to label their status honestly, but we cannot guarantee that every regional value matches the one that applies to your exact location or transaction, or that a source has not since changed. Check the value shown against your own local authority or record before you rely on it, and treat the figures as a guide. Any decision you make with the app is yours.

How the app is paid for, and that this can change

Plotzy is free to download and use today, with no ads and no in-app purchases. How it is funded may change in future — for example we may show advertisements, or offer a one-time purchase or a subscription (say, to unlock extra features). Any such change would arrive in a future version of the app and would be described at the time. A copy you have already installed keeps working under the terms it came with: nothing you have already installed suddenly starts charging you, or showing ads, without an update you choose to install.

Using it fairly

You are free to use Plotzy for your own work with land — personal or professional — and to do whatever you like with the results you produce. What we ask is that you use the app itself fairly: please do not copy, scrape, resell or redistribute its unit catalogue, its sourced values or the rest of its content, and do not try to disrupt the app or misuse it.

The app, its curated catalogue and its design are owned by Navritto or used under licence, and you receive a personal, non-transferable right to use them inside the app. The underlying facts — a unit's legal definition, and the public sources cited for a regional value — come from public knowledge and belong to no one.

Availability

Plotzy works fully offline, so once it is installed it needs neither us nor a connection to keep working. We may stop updating the app, or remove it from a store, at any time. If we do, a copy you have already installed keeps working exactly as before — it is never switched off or disabled remotely.

What we are responsible for

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep its conversions, regional values, sources and calculations accurate and the app dependable, but we do not warrant that the content is complete, error-free, current, or always available. This does not exclude any warranty that the law does not allow us to exclude.

To the extent permitted by law, Navritto is not liable for any loss arising from a measurement, valuation, purchase, sale or other decision you make using the app, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Navritto is registered. If you use the app as a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will update the date above and publish the new version at this address before it takes effect; continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
