This policy covers the Android app CreatorCam (package com.creatorcam.app), published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited. It is separate from the privacy policy for navritto.com, which covers the website.
In short: CreatorCam does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking software. The app does not request internet access, so it is technically incapable of sending your videos, audio, or any other information off your device. Everything CreatorCam records stays on your phone, under your control.
1. Information we collect
None. We do not collect, receive, or store any personal or device information.
Specifically, CreatorCam does not collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account identifier
- Location data
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or usage analytics
- Your videos, photos, or audio recordings
- Crash logs or diagnostic reports sent to us
Navritto Solutions Private Limited operates no server, no database, and no means of receiving data from this app.
2. Permissions and why they are needed
Camera
Required to show the viewfinder and record video. Video is captured only while you are in the app, and is written to a file only after you press record.
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO)
Required to record the audio track of your videos. Audio is captured only during an active recording session.
Foreground service (camera and microphone)
Allows a recording that is already in progress to continue safely if you switch away from the app, so a take is not lost. Android displays an ongoing notification and its own camera and microphone indicators for the whole time.
Notifications
Used only to display the “Recording in progress” notification on Android 13 and newer. Declining it does not affect recording.
Internet — deliberately not requested
CreatorCam does not declare the internet permission. The operating system therefore blocks any network access by the app, which is a technical guarantee — not merely a promise — that your recordings are not uploaded anywhere.
3. What is stored on your device
Recordings
Each take produces two MP4 files, one landscape and one portrait. They are written first to the app’s private storage and then moved into your device’s shared media library at DCIM/CreatorCam, where they appear in your gallery like any other video you shoot. Once moved, they are your media: the app keeps no second copy.
Settings
Your preferences — default lens, grid overlay, exposure slider, HEVC, HDR, microphone gain — are saved locally on the device using Android’s DataStore. They contain no personal information and never leave the device.
Temporary files
Incomplete files left behind by an interrupted recording are detected and deleted automatically the next time the app starts.
4. Third-party services
CreatorCam contains no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting software development kits.
Google Play itself, as the distribution platform, may collect information such as installs, uninstalls, and — if you opt in on your device — crash reports. That collection is governed by Google’s privacy policy, not by this one, and Navritto Solutions Private Limited receives only anonymised, aggregated statistics through the Play Console.
If you choose to share or open a recording using another app — a gallery, an editor, a messaging or social app — that file is then handled by that app under its own privacy policy. CreatorCam has no visibility or control over what happens after you hand a file to another application.
5. Children’s privacy
CreatorCam is a general-audience utility. Because it collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children. It is not directed at children under 13 and contains no advertising, in-app purchases, or social features.
6. Your control and data deletion
Because no data is ever collected from you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of what the app produces:
- Delete individual recordings from your gallery at any time.
- Revoke camera or microphone access at any time in Android Settings → Apps → CreatorCam → Permissions.
- Uninstalling CreatorCam removes the app, its settings, and any files still held in its private storage. Recordings already moved to DCIM/CreatorCam are your own media and are intentionally left in place; delete them from your gallery if you no longer want them.
7. Security
Your recordings are protected by the same Android platform security that protects the rest of your device storage, including device encryption when you have a screen lock enabled. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no data in transit to intercept and no remote database to breach.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a revised “last updated” date. Material changes — for example, the introduction of any feature that transmits data — will be described clearly and will not be applied retroactively to recordings already made.
