These are the terms of use for the Fillpen app (identifier com.fillpen.app), published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited. How the app handles your data is set out in its privacy policy.
What this is
Fillpen is a free app for your phone, published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited (“Navritto”, “we”). It opens a PDF, lets you fill in its fields or add text, sign it, mark it up and reorder its pages, and export a flattened copy — all on your own device. It needs no account.
By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use it. They sit alongside the app's privacy policy and the terms of the app store you installed it from.
What it is not
Fillpen is a tool for completing and signing documents, not a professional or legal service. The signature it adds is a visible mark you place yourself; it is not a certified or cryptographic digital signature, and Fillpen does not verify anyone's identity. Whether a filled-in or signed document is legally binding depends on the law that applies to it and on the person or body you send it to — so for anything that carries legal or financial weight, check what form of signature is required and take your own advice. Fillpen does not give legal advice.
How the app is paid for, and that this can change
Fillpen is free to download and use, and is supported by advertising from Google AdMob — shown on screens such as the home and settings screens, and one full-screen ad after an export, never while you are filling in or signing a document. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription. How the app is funded may still change in future (for example a paid option to remove ads); any such change would arrive in a future version and be described at the time, and a copy you have already installed keeps working under the terms it came with.
Your documents are yours
The documents you open, fill in and sign with Fillpen are yours. Navritto claims no ownership of them and takes no licence over them — we gain no right to use, copy or show your files. Everything happens on your own device; the app does not upload your documents and we never receive them. The only thing that goes online is the advertising, which never has access to your documents.
You are responsible for what you do with the app — for having the right to fill in, sign and send a given document, and for using what you produce lawfully. Fillpen is only the tool; how you use it is up to you.
Using it fairly
You are free to use Fillpen for your own documents — personal or work — and to do whatever you like with the files you make. What we ask is that you use the app itself fairly: please do not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer it, and do not misuse it or use it to break the law.
The app itself — its software, design and name — belongs to Navritto or is used by us under licence. Installing it gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on your own devices. That right covers the app, not your documents, which remain yours as described above.
Availability
Fillpen works offline and needs no connection to fill in or sign a document — only the ads it shows need a connection. We may stop updating the app, or remove it from the app store, at any time and without notice. If we do, a copy already installed on your phone keeps working.
What we are responsible for
Fillpen is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to make it reliable, but we cannot promise that it will be free of faults, available at all times, or that it will open or render every PDF exactly as another program would. Please keep your own copies of documents that matter to you, and check an exported file before you rely on or send it.
To the extent the law allows, Navritto is not liable for a lost or altered document, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms removes or limits anything that cannot lawfully be removed or limited — including any warranty implied by law and your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Navritto is registered. If you use the app as a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will change the date above and publish the new version at this address before it takes effect; continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.

The other documents
How Fillpen handles data is set out separately in its privacy policy, which you can open from the app's page. In short: the app itself collects nothing and never uploads your documents; the only data that leaves the device is what a Google AdMob ad needs, with a consent choice where the law requires it. These terms and that policy are meant to be read together.
