These are the open-source components included in the iPhone version of the Oathpal app (identifier com.oathpal.app), published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited, and the licence each is used under. How you may use the app itself is set out in its terms of use.
1. Fonts
Oathpal sets its text in one open-source typeface, used under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1:
Lexend
Copyright 2018 The Lexend Project Authors (https://github.com/googlefonts/lexend), with the reserved font name “RevReading Lexend”. Used under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1.
The full SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1 is available at https://openfontlicense.org.
2. Frameworks and libraries
The iPhone version is built with the following open-source frameworks and libraries, each used under the Apache License, Version 2.0:
- Kotlin, its standard library and the Kotlin Multiplatform toolchain — © JetBrains s.r.o. and contributors
- Compose Multiplatform, including its Material 3 components and the Material icons — © JetBrains s.r.o. and The Android Open Source Project
- Lifecycle and Navigation for Compose, and the DataStore preferences store — © JetBrains s.r.o. and The Android Open Source Project
- kotlinx.coroutines — © JetBrains s.r.o. and contributors
- kotlinx.serialization — © JetBrains s.r.o. and contributors
- Skiko, the graphics engine that draws the Compose Multiplatform interface on this platform — © JetBrains s.r.o.
The full Apache License, Version 2.0 is available at https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.
3. Skia
Compose Multiplatform draws through Skia, the open-source 2D graphics library, used under the BSD 3-Clause License:

Reading questions aloud, checking spoken answers, purchases and reminders use the operating system's own built-in frameworks, which require no attribution.
Oathpal's own code and content
Oathpal's own source code, design and brand are owned by Navritto Solutions Private Limited or used under licence, and are not covered by the licences above; the civics questions and answers come from US government materials published at uscis.gov. Their use is governed by the Terms of Use. Beyond the components listed here, the app is built on the operating system's own built-in frameworks, which require no attribution; the only closed-source components are Google's Mobile Ads SDK and the app store's billing and review libraries — which serve the ads that keep the app free and process any purchase — governed by their own terms, not an open-source licence.
