These are the terms of use for the Oathpal app (identifier com.oathpal.app), published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited. How the app handles your data is set out in its privacy policy.
What this is
Oathpal is a free study app for your phone, published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited (“Navritto”, “we”). It helps you prepare for the US naturalization test — the civics questions, the English reading and writing tests, and the interview — with flashcards, quizzes and a mock interview, all on your own device. It needs no account.
By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use it. They sit alongside the app's privacy policy and the terms of the app store you installed it from.
Not a government service
Oathpal is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) or any US government agency, department or official. The naturalization test and interview are administered only by USCIS. Using Oathpal produces no certificate, result, status or official record, and has no effect on any application. The questions and answers follow the materials published at uscis.gov, which is the authoritative source; where an answer can change — such as your elected officials — check it there.
Oathpal does not provide legal or immigration advice. It is a study tool, not a substitute for a lawyer or an accredited representative. For advice about your own case, consult a qualified professional.
No guarantee of a result
Studying with Oathpal does not guarantee that you will pass the test or be granted citizenship — that is decided by USCIS on its own criteria. We work to keep the questions, answers and vocabulary accurate and current and to cite their source, but we cannot guarantee that every detail matches what applies to you on the day, so treat the app as practice and confirm anything important at uscis.gov.
How the app is paid for, and that this can change
Oathpal is free to download and use, and every study feature is free — nothing about the test is locked behind a payment. It is supported by advertising from Google AdMob, shown at natural breaks and never next to the answer buttons. If you prefer no ads, there is an optional one-time purchase or a monthly subscription that removes them; these are sold and billed by the app store you installed from (which handles payment and, for a subscription, renewals and cancellation), not by us. How the app is funded may change in future; any such change would arrive in a future version and be described at the time, and a copy you have already installed keeps working under the terms it came with.
Your study is yours
Your progress and the choices you make in the app are yours and stay on your device. Navritto claims no ownership of them and does not receive them — the app does not upload your study data or your voice. The only thing that goes online is the advertising (and a purchase, if you make one), which never has access to your answers.
Using it fairly
You are free to use Oathpal to study for yourself. What we ask is that you use the app itself fairly: please do not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer it, and do not misuse it or use it to break the law. The app itself — its software, design, name and the way its content is organised — belongs to Navritto or is used by us under licence; the underlying civics questions and answers come from US government materials. Installing the app gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it on your own devices.
Availability
Oathpal works offline and needs no connection to study — only the ads it shows, and a purchase if you make one, need a connection. We may stop updating the app, or remove it from the app store, at any time and without notice. If we do, a copy already installed on your phone keeps working.
What we are responsible for
Oathpal is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to make it reliable and accurate, but we cannot promise that it will be free of faults, available at all times, or that every question, answer or official detail is complete and up to date at the moment you study it. Always verify anything that matters at uscis.gov.
To the extent the law allows, Navritto is not liable for a test result, an application outcome, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms removes or limits anything that cannot lawfully be removed or limited — including any warranty implied by law and your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Navritto is registered. If you use the app as a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country or state where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will change the date above and publish the new version at this address before it takes effect; continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.

The other documents
How Oathpal handles data is set out separately in its privacy policy, which you can open from the app's page. In short: the app itself collects nothing and never uploads your study data or your voice; the only data that leaves the device is what a Google AdMob ad needs, with a consent choice where the law requires it. These terms and that policy are meant to be read together.
