Your workflow

Paste a link. Post it anywhere.

  1. Paste or share a link

Paste any link into Taptive, or share it straight in from the app you're already using. There's no setup and no account to create first.

  2. Get your short link

Taptive hands back a short link and copies it to your clipboard, ready to go — and works out for you which app the link belongs to.

  3. Post it anywhere

Drop the short link in your bio, story or post. Every tap gets routed into the right app automatically, so viewers land where they can actually act.

What's inside

  • 01

Opens the real app, not the in-app browser

Tap a link from a social bio or post and it normally opens inside that platform’s own in-app browser, where your viewer is logged out and a purchase or follow takes far more taps. Taptive works out which app the link belongs to and sends the viewer straight into the real app — YouTube, Amazon, Spotify and more — already signed in.

  • 02

No account — not even an email

There is no sign-up, no email, no password, no “continue with Google”. Open the app and make a link. Your links belong to you through a key created on your own phone, so there is nothing to log into and no password for anyone to breach.

  • 03

Never rewrites your affiliate tags or UTMs

Whatever you paste is exactly what the destination receives. Taptive never adds, removes, or swaps the affiliate tags, UTM campaigns or sub-IDs in your link, and never inserts its own affiliate codes — so your tracking and your commissions stay yours.

  • 04

    No click limits, ever

Other link tools start charging when a post takes off — capping you at a set number of clicks a year, or billing per click. Taptive does not count your clicks: a link that gets a million taps costs nothing. The free plan holds up to 50 links, each with unlimited clicks.

  • 05

See the clicks on every link

Every link shows its own click count, so you can tell which post actually moved people — without creating an account or opening a separate analytics dashboard.

Why links break in bios

A link in an Instagram, TikTok or Twitter bio almost never opens in the app your viewer needs. The platform forces it through its own in-app browser, where the viewer is logged out, affiliate cookies often don't survive, and a one-tap purchase turns into a chore — so the click is spent and nothing happens. Taptive exists to close that gap: it sends each tap into the real destination app, signed in, so the links creators depend on actually land.

Who it's for

Creators and affiliate marketers who share links from social bios and posts and want every tap to land in the right app.

Frequently asked questions

Why do my links open in an in-app browser instead of the app?
When someone taps a link inside Instagram, TikTok, or X, the platform opens it in its own built-in browser rather than handing it to the real app. There the viewer is usually logged out, so buying, following, or subscribing takes far more taps. Taptive gives you a short link that skips that in-app browser and opens the real destination app directly.
How do I make a link open in the app and not the browser?
Paste your link into Taptive and it hands back a short link. When someone taps that short link, Taptive works out their device and which app the link belongs to and sends them straight into it — the real YouTube, Amazon, or Spotify app — already signed in. If they don't have the app installed, the link falls back to the normal web page.
Does Taptive change my affiliate or UTM tags?
No. Taptive never adds, removes, or rewrites the parameters in your link. Your affiliate tag, UTM campaign, and sub-IDs arrive at the destination exactly as you pasted them, and Taptive never slips its own affiliate codes into your links.
Do I need an account to use Taptive?
No — there is no sign-up, email, password, or “continue with Google”. You open the app and make a link. Your links belong to you through a key created on your own phone, so there is nothing to log into and no password anyone can breach.
Are there limits on how many clicks my links can get?
No. Taptive does not count your clicks, so a link that gets a million taps costs nothing. The free plan holds up to 50 links, and every link gets unlimited clicks.
Which apps and platforms does Taptive work with?
Taptive routes links into apps like YouTube, Amazon, Spotify, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Netflix, and it handles the in-app browsers of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, Reddit, and Snapchat. Desktop visitors get the normal web page.
Is Taptive free, and does it show ads?
Taptive is free and shows a small banner ad inside the app to support it. Ads appear only in the app — the people who tap your links never see an ad; their tap goes straight to the destination.
