Ramayan: Rise of Ram is built on open-source software and on openly licensed art and sound. This page credits every third-party component and asset the game ships, the licence each is used under, and the open AI models used to make some of its content. Nothing in the game is used under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence; the asset libraries below are public-domain (CC0) and credited here by choice.

3. 3-D models, textures, skies and animation
Every character in the game — Ram, Lakshman, the sages, the king, the rakshasas and the beasts — is built and dressed by Navritto's own scripts. They start from, or use, these public-domain (CC0 1.0) libraries:
- MakeHuman system assets — base body meshes, eyes, brows, skins and viseme (mouth-shape) targets, via the MPFB add-on for Blender (https://static.makehumancommunity.org). CC0 1.0.
- Quaternius — Universal Animation Library 1 and 2 (movement, sword, roll, kneel and gesture animation), Ultimate Animated Animals (the forest wolf) and the Farm Animals pack (the boar), by Quaternius (https://quaternius.com). CC0 1.0.
- Poly Haven — skies (HDRIs), ground, bark, wood, thatch, plaster, brick and stone textures, and rock, shrub, fern and stump models (https://polyhaven.com). CC0 1.0.
- ambientCG — the leaf atlases used for the banyan and sal trees (https://ambientcg.com). CC0 1.0.
Some of Ram's bow and sword animations come from Adobe Mixamo (https://www.mixamo.com), used inside the game under Adobe's Mixamo terms; the animation files are not offered for separate download or reuse.
4. Sound
- Kenney — Impact Sounds and RPG Audio (sword, arrow and footstep impacts, the bow's creak, cloth), by Kenney (https://kenney.nl). CC0 1.0.
- Freesound field recordings used in the ambience and the music's conch, bell and gong accents, each released under CC0 1.0 by its recordist: Garuda1982 (gentle river flow), squashy555 (dawn chorus birdsong), bajko (forest spring afternoon), aurelien.leveque (night valley jungle), SarahAGGross (jungle nighttime), Duophonic (campfire in a forest at night), nonzeroenfilade (jungle rainfall), Soojay (distant storm), rsn267 (shankh), the_very_Real_Horst (ghanta), JensZygar (gong) and grololo (Shiva bells) — https://freesound.org.
- The remaining sound effects — whooshes, the bowstring, grunts, roars and interface sounds — are synthesised by Navritto's own code.
5. Open AI models used to make content
Some of the game's content was made with openly licensed AI models, run by Navritto, and then reviewed and edited by people:
- Voices (Hindi and English) — generated with AI4Bharat's Indic Parler-TTS (https://huggingface.co/ai4bharat/indic-parler-tts). Apache License, Version 2.0. Lip-sync timing from Rhubarb Lip Sync (MIT License).
- Music — generated with ACE-Step 1.5 (https://github.com/ACE-Step/ACE-Step-1.5). MIT License.
- Painted chapter art and concept art — generated with Black Forest Labs' FLUX.2 [klein] 4B (https://huggingface.co/black-forest-labs/FLUX.2-klein-4B), with borders and layout by Navritto's own code. Apache License, Version 2.0.
6. The game's own code and content
The game's source code, story script, characters, costumes, environments, cinematics and brand are owned by Navritto Solutions Private Limited and are not covered by the licences above. The story is drawn from Valmiki's Ramayana, which is in the public domain.
