These are the terms of use for the Partycide app (identifier com.partycide.app), published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited. How the app handles your data is set out in its privacy policy.
What this is
Partycide is a party-game app for your phone, published by Navritto Solutions Private Limited (“Navritto”, “we”). It helps one person host a murder mystery party for friends: it plans the evening, casts the guests, generates character booklets, invitations and props, and then runs the night with read-aloud scripts, timers, music, secret voting and a reveal. Your guests do not need the app — they play from a booklet you share. It needs no account.
By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use it. They sit alongside the app's privacy policy and the terms of the app store you installed it from.
A game, and a work of fiction
Partycide is entertainment. The mysteries, characters, places, businesses and events in it are invented, and any resemblance to real people, living or dead, or to real businesses, places or events is coincidental. The “murder” is a theatrical game device — it is not graphic, and the app depicts no real violence, crime or real person. Nothing in a mystery is a statement of fact about anyone.
Who it's for, and choosing a mystery
Partycide is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not designed for children under 13. Each mystery shows its own age rating (Family, Teen or Grown-ups), player count and run time before you start it, and some mysteries contain mild references — for example to alcohol — in keeping with their setting. As the host, you decide which mystery to run and whom to invite, and you are responsible for choosing one that is appropriate for your guests.
How the app is paid for, and that this can change
Partycide is free to install, and the first mystery is free to play in full. More mysteries, and an all-access unlock that covers all of them, are optional one-time purchases — there is no subscription and no advertising. Those purchases are sold and billed by the app store you installed from (which handles payment and sets the price in your currency), not by us; the app confirms what you own with the store and lets you restore it. How the app is funded may change in future; any such change would arrive in a future version and be described at the time, and a copy you have already installed keeps working under the terms it came with.
Your parties are yours
The parties you plan and the choices you make in the app are yours and stay on your device. Navritto claims no ownership of them and does not receive them — the app does not upload your party data. The only connection the app makes is to the app store's billing service, to check or complete a purchase.
Using it fairly
Partycide is for hosting your own parties. You may generate, print and share the booklets, invitations, name tags and props the app creates with the guests at your own private party, as many times as you like. What we ask is that you do not resell, publish, redistribute or commercially exploit the mysteries, their stories, characters, artwork, music or text, and do not run paid or public events with them, without our permission — and that you do not copy, reverse-engineer or misuse the app itself. The app and its content — its software, design, name, stories, characters, artwork and music — belong to Navritto or are used by us under licence. Installing the app gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it and to host private parties with it.
Availability
Partycide and its mysteries work offline once installed; buying or restoring a purchase needs a connection. We may stop updating the app, or remove it from the app store, at any time and without notice. If we do, a copy already installed on your phone keeps working.
What we are responsible for
Partycide is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to make it reliable, and to make every mystery fair and solvable, but we cannot promise that it will be free of faults or available at all times. It is a game for entertainment: to the extent the law allows, Navritto is not liable for how a party goes, for any upset, dispute or loss arising from the content of a mystery or the way it is played, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms removes or limits anything that cannot lawfully be removed or limited — including any warranty implied by law and your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Navritto is registered. If you use the app as a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country or state where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will change the date above and publish the new version at this address before it takes effect; continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.

The other documents
How Partycide handles data is set out separately in its privacy policy, which you can open from the app's page. In short: the app collects nothing, has no ads or analytics, and never uploads your party data — everything stays on your device, and the only connection is the app store's purchase check. These terms and that policy are meant to be read together.
