Lexicon
Crack the hidden five-letter word in six guesses — a fresh puzzle every day.
How to play Lexicon
Every day brings one hidden five-letter word — the same word for everyone that day. You have six tries to guess it.
Type any real five-letter word and press Enter. Each letter is then colour-coded: green means the letter is correct and in the right spot, amber means the letter is in the word but somewhere else, and dark means the letter isn't in the word at all.
Every tile also shows a small mark — a tick for correct, a dot for present, a cross for absent — so the feedback reads clearly without relying on colour.
Use the clues to narrow it down and solve the word within six guesses. Solve it and your daily streak grows; run out of guesses and the word is revealed.

Tips
- Open with a word rich in common letters and vowels to light up as many tiles as you can.
- A letter can appear more than once — an amber tile means it's in the word, just not in that spot.
- Reuse what you learn: keep the greens in place and shuffle the ambers to new positions.
- It's a daily — solve it today to keep your streak alive, and fewer guesses earns a higher score.
About Lexicon
Lexicon is Navritto's daily word-guess puzzle, built to play instantly in the browser. Each calendar day picks one five-letter word from our own curated, family-friendly list using that day's seed, so everyone plays the identical word — and it's the same word whether you reload the page or return later. You get six tries; after each guess every letter is marked correct, present, or absent (by colour, by a corner glyph, and in its label, so the feedback is clear for colour-blind players too), and a solve extends a streak saved on your device. When the day is done you can share a spoiler-free grid of coloured squares — no letters given away. It needs no install or account and works with touch or the keyboard. Lexicon joins Coil, Doubler, Pairs, Skyhop, Skyline and Sudoku in Navritto Games and shares the same feel — the flip, the pop, the little celebration on a solve — that runs through them all.
