How to play Type Blaster

  1. Type Blaster is a 3-D typing arcade. Ships fly in from the top, each carrying a word, and drift down toward your craft at the bottom. Type a word to blast its ship out of the sky before it reaches you.

  2. Locking on is automatic: press the first letter of any word on screen and you lock onto the nearest ship whose word starts with that letter. Keep typing the rest of the word — every correct letter fires a blast, and the final letter destroys the ship.

  3. Accuracy comes before speed. Type a whole word with no mistakes and your combo multiplier climbs (up to ×8), which is where the big points come from; a word with any typo still destroys the ship but resets the combo to ×1. A wrong key never breaks your lock — it just costs a little accuracy — so a slip is never punished by snatching the target away.

  4. Your live typing speed (WPM) and accuracy read out the whole time. Your craft has a hull of three: a ship that reaches it costs one segment and is destroyed. When the hull runs out the run ends on a card showing your score, WPM, accuracy, and best clean streak — then it is one tap to play again.

  5. It is an endless run that starts gentle and speeds up the longer you last, so there is always a new personal best to chase. Your best score and best WPM save on your device. Type Blaster needs a hardware keyboard, so it is best on a desktop or laptop.

Tips

  • Type clean, not frantic — a whole word with no typos grows your combo, and the combo is where the score really comes from. Speed is only a bonus on top of accuracy.
  • Lock the nearest threat first: pressing a first letter always grabs the ship closest to your craft, so clear the ones about to land before the ones still up high.
  • Don't panic on a typo — your lock stays put, so just hit the right key and carry on. Accuracy dips a little, but you never lose the ship you were on.
  • Glance at the WPM readout to pace yourself, and watch your accuracy: the calmer and cleaner you type, the higher both your streak and your score climb.
  • Play on a real keyboard — a desktop or laptop — where you can rest your hands and touch-type; that is where your speed and accuracy actually improve.

About Type Blaster

Type Blaster is Navritto's 3-D arcade typing game — a space defender where ships fly in carrying words and you type them to blast them before they reach your craft. It is built to be genuinely fun AND to make you a measurably faster, more accurate typist: press a word's first letter to lock onto the nearest ship, type the rest to destroy it, and watch your live words-per-minute (WPM) and accuracy the whole time. Accuracy is the mechanic, not a footnote — clean, typo-free words grow a combo multiplier that drives the score, while speed is only a bonus on top, so the fun loop and the learning loop are the same loop. A mistype is forgiving by design: it never breaks your lock, so a slip costs a little accuracy but never the target — kind for beginners and kids. This first release is an endless arcade run that starts gentle and escalates the longer you survive, with a hull of three, an end-of-run card, and a personal-best score and WPM saved on your device to chase. It is kid-safe by construction: the enemies are cheerful space-junk, the vocabulary is a hand-curated all-ages word list, and there are no accounts, no ads over play, and no dark patterns. Type Blaster is a keyboard game — it needs a hardware keyboard, so it is best on a desktop or laptop; a touch version is planned. It runs right in your browser with no install and no account. The craft, ships, starfield and glowing blasts are all original art rendered live in 3-D. Type Blaster brings a typing arcade to Navritto Games, alongside word puzzles like Lexicon and Wordknot and arcade games like Gummy Snake and Ricochet.
