How to play Type Blaster
Type Blaster is a 3-D typing arcade. Ships fly in from the top, each carrying a word, and drift down toward your craft at the bottom. Type a word to blast its ship out of the sky before it reaches you.
Locking on is automatic: press the first letter of any word on screen and you lock onto the nearest ship whose word starts with that letter. Keep typing the rest of the word — every correct letter fires a blast, and the final letter destroys the ship.
Accuracy comes before speed. Type a whole word with no mistakes and your combo multiplier climbs (up to ×8), which is where the big points come from; a word with any typo still destroys the ship but resets the combo to ×1. A wrong key never breaks your lock — it just costs a little accuracy — so a slip is never punished by snatching the target away.
Play the Campaign — six worlds of designed levels that teach one new thing at a time, from the home row up to capitals, punctuation and short phrases. You earn one to three stars per level, and the stars are graded on your accuracy: clearing earns a star, a clean run earns more. Stars open the later worlds, and your furthest level is always one click away on the Continue button. Each world ends with a boss — a big friendly machine you beat by typing the words it throws at you, never by taking damage.
Every level teaches a power-up you earn by typing clean words — a meter fills as you go, and you press Enter to fire it: a Nova that clears the screen, a slow-motion field, a spread shot, a hull repair, a points-doubling Focus, or a spawn freeze. Power-ups are earned in play only — there is nothing to buy.
Prefer one continuous run? Play Endless — no levels, one run that starts gentle and speeds up the longer you last, ending on a card with your score, WPM, accuracy and best clean streak when your hull runs out. Your bests and your campaign progress save on your device. Type Blaster needs a hardware keyboard, so it is best on a desktop or laptop.
It learns as you type and helps you improve. Open Drills for focused practice: Target Practice builds words around the exact keys you miss most (and the words you fumbled in earlier runs), Precision Run is a slow, accuracy-first warm-up, and Speed Burst is a 30-second sprint on keys you have already mastered — plus nine structured lessons from the home row up to short sentences. The Progress screen shows a keyboard heatmap of how confident you are on every key and a chart of your typing speed over time. Coins you earn just by playing unlock cosmetic ship skins, backdrops, blast colours and word sets in the shop — bought once and yours to keep, with nothing for sale for real money.

Tips
- Type clean, not frantic — a whole word with no typos grows your combo AND fills your power-up meter, and it is what earns the third star. Speed is only a bonus on top of accuracy.
- Lock the nearest threat first: pressing a first letter always grabs the ship closest to your craft, so clear the ones about to land before the ones still up high.
- Save your power-up for the crunch — press Enter to fire Nova when the screen is crowded, or slow-motion when a fast wave arrives. The meter refills as you keep typing cleanly.
- On a boss, just keep typing the words it shows — it powers down word by word, and if you leave one too long it calls in a wave, so read and type steadily.
- In Capital City and the Punctuation Nebula the case matters, so use Shift for the capitals; a wrong-case key is a gentle miss that keeps your lock, so there is no penalty for learning it.
- Play on a real keyboard — a desktop or laptop — where you can rest your hands and touch-type; that is where your speed and accuracy actually improve.
